Thank you for doing the subject line smackdown -- always so helpful to hear what you're thinking when reading each + how you analyze them!
I feel you on the stress + fatigue part. Esp. with the state of the industry and our insane frickin world. I've been trying to focus more on the little everyday things that bring me happiness (and similar to Maggie -- snuggling my dog constantly!).
I'm so glad the SLSs are helpful. They're fun to do and also make me think about what is effective and why. And I'm doing the same with trying to focus on the little everyday things that bring me happiness: riding my bike, playing soccer with my kiddo, even just enjoying the sunshine. Thanks for sharing, Autumn!
Love the term "cut bait"! Not sure if this is helpful, but my coping mechanism is giving my pup snuggles, walks, playing, etc. His goofy joy always gives my mind a break! Sending big hugs - and yay spring ;)
Ha, I can't even remember where I first heard "cut bait," but no doubt it was somewhere in the South! I love that your pup is your go-to stressbuster. Thanks for sharing, Maggie, and Happy Spring!
